EHS Guidelines Acceptance

EHS Guidelines (23 Points)

  1. All business partners & contractors must comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and applicable provisions of the Factories Act, along with SGIPL's internal EHS and quality standards.
  2. Contractors shall comply with all SGIPL rules, regulations, site instructions, and relevant legal requirements without objection.
  3. SGIPL is responsible for monitoring compliance. Contractors must follow all EHS and QMS guidelines applicable at site.
  4. EHS induction and job-specific training are mandatory before beginning any work.
  5. Contractors shall ensure the safety of their workers, materials, and equipment at site.
  6. Suitable PPEs (helmets, shoes, goggles, gloves, etc.) shall be provided as per job requirements and applicable standards. Non-IS/non-certified PPEs will not be accepted.
  7. Work at height (above 1.8m) must follow fall protection standards with harnesses, lifelines, fall arresters, and IS-approved systems.
  8. Contractors must obtain EHS approval before deploying PPE or equipment on site.
  9. Only competent scaffolders shall erect/dismantle scaffolding. Ladders must be secured and not used as work platforms.
  10. Safe working conditions (access, lighting, guardrails, work platforms, etc.) must be ensured.
  11. Contractors shall submit the following documents before work:
    1. ID proofs and medical fitness (by CIH-certified doctor), HSE certifications and licenses)
    2. HSE certifications and licenses EHS team structure and SOPs
  12. Welfare facilities (rest shelters, clean drinking water, toilets, handwashing stations) must be provided and maintained.
  13. Contractor must deploy a Safety Supervisor for manpower > 20 and Safety Officer for manpower > 250 (with SGIPL EHS approval).
  14. Hard barricading and safe access must be ensured for all excavations.
  15. Daily housekeeping must be maintained. Failure to do so will result in a penalty (3x cleaning cost recovered from running bill).
  16. Gas cutting sets must include Flashback Arrestors and NRVs. Hoses must be color-coded.
  17. Asbestos is strictly prohibited. Only fiberglass blankets may be used for fire safety.
  18. Chemical storage must follow MSDS guidelines. Spillage or improper handling will be treated as a near-miss.
  19. Waste chemicals must be disposed of through authorized agencies, with documentation provided.
  20. Firefighting equipment must be available for hot work and chemical handling.
  21. Work must not start without a valid Permit to Work and approved HIRA/JSA from SGIPL.
  22. All unsafe acts/conditions must be corrected immediately after identification.
  23. Mobile phones are prohibited in selected area.

By submitting this registration form, you agree to comply with all Strata company policies and procedures.

You confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

3. Document Verification

All submitted documents will be verified. Any false information may lead to rejection of registration.

4. Confidentiality

All business information shared between parties will be treated as confidential.

5. Compliance

Vendor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

6. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be as mutually agreed upon and specified in individual purchase orders.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice.

8. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of India.
